Like most of my generation, I grew up with videogames. I recall, when I was 7 and playing Mario Cart, that I would eventually build games myself. I have persued this objective since then and I am now happy to say that I am finally ready to enter the workforce as video game programmer.

People who know me will describe me as imaginative, upbeat, friendly and that I am always up for a challenge.

I am originally from Granby, where I earned my DEC in Computer Science (CEGEP Granby). From there I decided to earn an AEC in Video Game Programming at Quebec City’s BART college.

Now, after 14 years of hard work my dream is achieved: I am finally a video game programmer and will continue to work hard to learn more and grow more to earn my place in this world.

I have now worked in two different companies and 6 different projects. From a simple mobile game with focus on code quality; to a game that interact with elements in the real world, passing a switch port and a GPS based mobile game. I have learned so much in the past few years and I can't wait to put all that new knowledge into games.

I really like the aspect of Designing a game and programming its Gameplay, so I would appreciate working in these fields of expertise at first. I like to analyze in depth the different games I play to try to see what choices the developer and game designer made. I would love for other players to do the same with my future work.

Who knows, maybe it will ignite the same passion in a 7 year old!!
