Sépaq: Explo
As lead programmer, I made the game Sepaq: Explo under the direction of my employers at 4elements. The goal of the game is to explore any of Quebec’s unique national parks, making discoveries through a geolocalised experience and trivia. I was responsible for coding the user interface, gameplay, backend, database management, and connecting the game to the internet. I encountered a number of challenges during development, including the requirement that the game work both with or without internet connection. This required me to flexibly adapt the design and code of the game to meet the client’s request, allowing me to advance my skills as both a game designer and programmer
